Lesson 3 - XX Rated Creatures Part II
Bowtruckle:
Our first creature is one of my personal favorites, The Bowtruckle. Bowtuckles are tree-guarding creatures. But they don't guard just any ol' trees. They guard trees that are have good wand making woods. You can find these creatures in western England, southern Germany, and certain Scandinavian forest. Though they are hard to see since they are only a few inches high. Its appearance is sort of like a twig. It feeds on insects and woodlice. Its a peaceful creature until someone tries to disturb its home. Then it becomes very aggressive and then tries to gouge the person's eyes out with its long skinny fingers. Now if you are ever attacked by one of these, simply give it some woodlice and all will be well......or at least until it runs out of woodlice to eat.
Clabberts:
Clabberts are another tree-dwelling creature. They originated in the southern states of America. They look like a cross between a monkey and frog. They now live worldwide due to people exporting them. They have smooth and hairless bodies that is slightly green. It has webbed feet and hands one of the traits it got from the frog. It appears to be smiling but its mouth is full of razor sharp teeth. Another one of its most well known traits is its large pustule in the middle of its forehead which turns scarlet and flashes when danger approaches it. Some American wizards and witches kept them in their yards to warn them when muggles were approaching. Clabberts feed on small lizards and birds. Now lets more onto another creature.
Fairy:
Our next creature is well known to both Muggles and Wizards alike. This creature is the Fairy. Fairies are beast of little intelligence, but with have knack for getting themselves used as Christmas decorations. Now these creatures are extremely vain and love to be used a ornaments. These beast are very small, around 1 to 5 inches tall. They have a humanoid appearance but with large wings. The wings have a variety of different colors. Now when fairies lays it eggs it goes to the underside of a leaf and lays 50 eggs at one time. They hatch into larvae and after about a week they make themselves a cocoon and one month later, they come out a fairy. The fairy can not speak. It uses buzzing to communicate to others. Also this creature can use a weak sort of magic that can be used to scare off predators. Now lets move.
(The fairies used their magic to make all their pictures disappear. Silly faries)

Gnomes:
Ah, Gnomes. And no I'm not talking about those little statues Muggles have in their yards. (Creepy little things, those are.) I'm talking about the Gnomes you get in your garden. They are found all around Europe and North America as pest. They stand at about a foot tall with abnormally large heads and very small feet. Now if you ever get these pesky creatures in your garden simply spin them round and round till they are dizzy, and then remove them from your garden area. Now lets try another creature.
Imp:
Now lets talk about the Imp. No, this is not a pixie. Which brings me to my first point. Imps and Pixies are commonly confused. They are both about 6 to 8 inches tall. But Imps cannot fly and are not brightly colored like pixies. Imps are usually brown or black and
eat bugs and insects. They produce young like fairies, except they don't make cocoons. Their young are fully formed and around 1 inch long. Imps live around damp marshy places, usually around river banks. They also like to push people and trip them too so keep an eye out for them. Now lets see what else I can find.

Mooncalf:
Our next creature is the Mooncalf. Now this is a very shy creature. It will only come out of its burrow at full moon. It has a smooth pale gray body with its eyes on top of its head and four legs with huge flat feet underneath it. Now Muggles have these things called crop circles (Weird people Muggles are) that can easily be explained by Mooncalfs. When they come out of their burrow they perform very complicated dances on their hind legs in isolated places. (ex. Fields) Now these dances are said to be before the creature mates, but most people are not worried about the mating. They are more concerned about what their silvery....dung can be used for. Their dung, if collected before sun rise, can be spread on plants as a fertilizer which makes them grow very fast. Uhh, lets move on...
Puffskein:
What looks like a ball and soft all over? Its a Puffskein. As I just said, these creatures are spherical and custard colored. Its loves to be cuddled and doesn't mind to be thrown around either, Which makes them a popular family pet. They have a very long pink tongue that goes out to search for leftovers, spiders, dead insects, etc. But one of the weirdest (in my opinion) habits of this creature is the fact that it will stick its tongue up its owners nose and eat their "bogies". But lets talk about something that doesn't stick its nose in peoples noses.
